Frankfurt honed antique brush is used in the stone industry to give stone surfaces a smooth yet aged appearance, combining the flatness of a honed finish with the texture of an antique brush. This technique is often applied to materials like marble, granite, and other natural stones to achieve a rustic, timeless look.
For matt surface, we recommend 120# 180# 240# 320# 400# , over 600# grit the glossy will be increased.
Marble is soft stone which requests the abrasive tools not too hard which might occur scratch but should be sharp enough to erode the surface, this frankfurt honed brush is suitable to grind all kinds of marble stones.
Application
This frankfurt abrasive are widely used on continuous automatic polishing line, usually installing 6 pieces per polishing head, mainly for grinding natural marble, artificial marble and terrazzo. The final effect is matt surface (glossy degree is between 5-15).
